I am a Development Editor for World Languages at Ohlinger Studios with responsibility for textbooks in Spanish, including their print and online components and supplements. I also contribute to the development of French, German, and Italian titles.
I have nearly 20 years’ experience developing engaging communication materials, from copy writing and editing to formatting and graphic design. My portfolio includes developing technical, fundraising, marketing, and communication materials for print and online use. Prior to joining Ohlinger in 2015, I was a proposals editor at The Ohio State University Foundation, a senior strategist for research communications at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and a marketing coordinator for a full-service engineering firm.
In 2013, I started my own business, Smart Content LLC, and worked on projects for Ohio State’s Veterinary Medical Center, the Free to Smile Foundation, Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland, the Delaware County Habitat for Humanity, and Foundations for Families.
Born and raised in Montevideo, Uruguay, I moved to Delaware, Ohio, in 1995 to attend Ohio Wesleyan University. I graduated summa cum laude in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Creative Writing, and a minor in psychology; I was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society. My work has been published in Who’s Who in Latino Columbus, Ohio Magazine, and Ohio Wesleyan Literary Magazine.
