Jennifer Stevenson

I joined Ohlinger Studios in spring 2016 as a senior development editor. I currently serve as managing editor for Intro Psychology.

Before coming to Ohlinger Studios, I was a senior development editor at Pearson where I worked primarily on digital-first titles in psychology and sociology, including the first edition of one of the pilot titles for Pearson Education’s digital content delivery platform, Revel. Most recently, I have been development editor for both the full and brief editions of Ciccarelli/White’s Psychology, a market leader in Intro Psych.

Prior to working at Pearson, I was with development house Words & Numbers for 11 years. I held a variety of roles during my time there, including head of the Humanities and World Languages Department and Director of Business Development. With W&N, I managed development across a variety of subject areas, for both print products and online programs, including course development for several virtual schools.

I earned a B.A. in English from the University of Notre Dame and an M.S.Ed. from Johns Hopkins University, with a specialization in reading. In addition, I taught graduate courses at Johns Hopkins University in the Department of Teacher Development and Leadership. I hold a graduate certificate from the University of Washington in E-Learning Design and Development.
