I am a secret superhero/rock star disguised as a mild-mannered IT guy for the thriving publishing company known as Ohlinger Studios.
I have spent the bulk of my career in technology support and customer service roles. Having secured certifications in hardware and network infrastructure in the late 1990s, I started a computer repair business in 2002. That business operated in north Columbus until 2012, when I joined the staff at Ohlinger.
My current role involves set-up and support for all computer technology – hardware, software, etc. I act as the “help desk” for all staff, coordinate technology purchases, and help implement all new technologies. I also help with the daily practice of showering our office dogs and cats with love.
My role is primarily in tech support, but I have worn many hats throughout my career. My goal has always been to do whatever is necessary to help my team – from my time as a personnelman in the U.S. Navy to the various non-profit organizations that I’ve worked with.
In my spare time, I love hiking, watching and playing sports, and hanging out with my adult children. I also play bass and occasionally perform live with a local rock trio here in Columbus, OH. Come out and see us – and bring ear plugs—it might get loud.
