I joined the Ohlinger Studios team as Project Manager for the sociology list in August of 2018. My role varies from planning the long-term development of interactive assets to delegating tasks throughout the digital review process to bringing innovative technology initiatives to the Ohlinger team. In addition to working on sociology titles, I manage our current internship program along with Madison Durham and run Ohlinger Studios’ LinkedIn page.
I graduated from The Ohio State University in spring 2018 with a B.A. in English and minors in history of art (my favorite), sexuality studies, and professional writing. I have interned in numerous editorial positions ranging from editing semiannual brochures and website copy for the McConnell Arts Center to editing the annual teen literary journal Flip the Page for Thurber House. I also worked at Two Dollar Radio Headquarters, one of the coolest places in Columbus, where I read manuscript submissions and new releases, made lattes and cappuccinos, and helped curate their café/bookstore/event space.
When not at work in spreadsheets and digital platforms, I can be found walking/running/biking in search of colorful trees, reading everything and anything Oscar Wilde, talking to my fish Quetzal, and buying more plants even though my roommate has asked me to stop.
