What are you most passionate about, professionally?

I’m passionate about protecting the most vulnerable learners and putting them in the front of the line. I aspire to always think of the student that no one is thinking about, advocate for them, cater to them, and remove barriers to their learning.

Following a 16-year career in Houston’s public schools, I joined the Ohlinger Studios team in 2021 as a Project Manager focusing on K-12 content. My experiences as a high school teacher and elementary school principal provide me with a broad knowledge of curriculum and a deep understanding of how our products affect the work of teachers and the academic achievement of students. At Ohlinger, I am committed to creating instructional materials that are accessible and impactful for every learner, every school, and every household.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English and my Master of Arts in Teaching at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, and obtained my principal certification and Master of Educational Administration from The University of Texas at Austin.

I’m an aspiring competitive jigsaw puzzler who loves spending time in Houston’s parks and trails with my husband, two sons, and three dogs.
